FeedmeGuru x Popsy Modern Kitchen Mockingbird Experience



Popsy Modern Kitchen is a restaurant that combines fine art and scrumptious food as the owner, Jennifer Chung is a big art enthusiast and a food lover too! 

The restaurant has partenered with FeedmeGuru for a 10-course Mockingbird Experience where art and modern British cuisine merges, in conjunction with the Asian premiere of British photography exhibition, 11 Million Reasons from the United Kingdom, presented by the British Council, paying tribute to Deaf and disabled people.

A selection of good wine, spirits, and beautiful cocktails are not to be missed before we kick start our fun filled dinner surrounded by lovely people. 





Amuse Bouche
A lobster bisque in disguise jelly form with carviar covering cauliflower puree, this is what perfectly balanced means.





Foie Gras

A block of smooth foie gras in cylinder shape to go with a piece of crisp bread. Indulging yet not too overkilling your palette. 



Shrimp Cocktail “Unreal”


Shrimp covered in light lobster jelly on a piece of housemade green crouton. A cute delicacy in a mouthful.



Where My Chicken

A genius dish presented in a very artsy way, a.k.a. our favourite dish of the night. An egg yolk covered in a piece of rice flour sheet and form, pretending to be a sunny-side-up. Have you found your chicken yet? 







Tomato x 8

8 different types of tomato presented and prepared in its own unique way. The tomato consomme crisps gave a good strong freshness. A complex taste between sweet and sour is what it is. 





Grapefruit Sorbet

A quick refreshing palette cleanser before we move on to some main dishes.



New Fish & Chips

A classic British dish in a form that you have never seen before. The chips is made with a piece of deep fried fish bone, complimenting with the very old fashioned British mashed green pea in block form! 





Beef Cheek

An extremely tender sous vide beef cheek that would literally melt in your mouth. What’s surprising would be the shaved dark chocolate that goes flawlessly well with the delicate piece of meat. 





Big Mac

That’s right! Big Mac with no beef but a piece of camembert cheese and a celery stick sandwiched between two pieces of Chinese style deep fried steamed bun and topped with a little piece of pickle! How can you ever imagine all these things are going to work well altogether?





Eton Mess

There is never too much surprises at Popsy Modern Kitchen. The eton mess is hidden under a piece of strawberry sheet, while only fresh sweet strawberries goodness is used to create this crunchy and soft mouth explosion! 





Sweet Surprise

A very interesting dessert plate with some diced mango, matcha ice cream, rice puffs, rice cake cream and more. Go crazy with the mix and match and somehow they can create a beautiful harmony. 



Petite Four

Even the petite fours leave us no disappointment with some white chocolate coated dark chocolate pieces with a hint of paprika and some meringue cotton candy burger (that’s how I call it). Not overly sweetened as a lovely sweet finish! 



This Mockingbird Experience is going to give you lots of memorable moments. It is like playing treasure hunt while enjoying a good meal, trying to discover all the secret ingredients to create the dishes. So, what are you waiting for?
