Emmanuel f. is recently relocated to a very accessible location in Sheung Wan, offering stylish hair couture, relaxing urban spa, chic make-ups and eco-friendly products.

Right above the infamous Italian restaurant Doppio Zero, Emmanuel f. took over the very bright and spacious area to share the love. Emmanuel is a very skillful hair stylist with almost 20 years of experience. With perfecting his hair styling expertise, Emmanuel is the pioneer to introduce eco-friendly hair services in Hong Kong using organic hair products including shampoo, conditioners, and even the coloring dye!

On the left of the space with chic modern design, there are a few fully equipped rooms for customers to enjoy spa and facial with some privacy, while a wide selection of hair and skincare products are also available for purchase.

We absolutely love their shampoo room that brings us an all-time starry starry night, the most relaxing shampoo session I have ever had and the head massage is just amazing. It took us no time to fall sounded sleep.

If you are looking for even more privacy, a VIP room can be booked upon request. The room is equipped with barber chair and heat lamps so customers can pretty much stay discrete when enjoying some professional services at the same time.

How does Organic Colouring work?

Emmanuel uses the latest, most natural method, in which the active ingredients for raising the pH is mildly alkaline and acts as a Conditioning Agent. This softens the cuticle and, by using a pH adjuster, does not take the hair as far from its natural pH and causes it to open rather than to swell up. Minimising protein and moisture also causes the colour to wind its way into the hair which is more effect and also assists in reducing colour fade.

The organic colouring uses all natural ingredients instead of chemicals, therefore, it smells great, it feels great, it doesn’t hurt and it is just as easy as any other colouring systems, but in a much healthier way. Besides, Emmanuel uses cotton to replace aluminum foil for their hair highlights, along with Emmanuel’s invention of a much quicker way to apply the dye, a much more efficient way when comparing to the traditional method.

As I wanted to have a neat haircut, I decided to trim it a bit shorter with a change in my base colour as well as a lighter highlight colouring.
