TOWNHOUSE – Stable Quality Food with Thoughtful Service

TOWNHOUSE has been one of the best restaurants in California Tower in Central serving delicious drinks and scrumptious menu with the influence from both Chinese and Western cuisine, aligning with the dining group’s concept.

The really spacious dining area is a great place for relaxing lunch / afternoon tea complimented with the bright awakening sunlight, or sumptuous dinner with the city’s sexy skyscrapers view. A good party vibe can also be enjoyed when you are sipping your crafted cocktails from their bar at the entrance of the restaurant.

Being located at the heart of Central, TOWNHOUSE offers a relatively affordable menu serving an array of drinks, small bites like skewers or salads, and main dishes like innovative pizzas and a lot more.

Welcome to town $98

With a well equipped bar in the middle of the restaurant, mixologist is pledged to create an array for crafted cocktails using fresh ingredients as well as attractive presentation. This refreshing cocktail is a concussion between chamomile infused gin, Triple Sec, fresh lemon juice, vanilla syrup, fresh grapefruit juice and fresh orange juice, in a funny container with a hole in the middle.

Caesar salad, fried runny egg and spider jumbo soft-shell crab $148

Who says Caesar has to be topped with grilled chicken? TOWNHOUSE’s Caesar salad takes an oriental twist with both deep fried runny egg and soft-shell crab on top of a pile of fresh mixed greens, croutons and some tasty Parmesan cheese slices.

The egg has been prepared perfectly with a runny centre, which mixes well with the crunchy greens with just a light ranch dressing. The crispy soft-shell crab also created a contrast texture in salad, giving the dish some savouriness and extra crispiness, meaning extra deliciousness!

Coca-Cola Prime Beef, Rib Meat $78/skewer

Coke is no longer only for chicken but for beef as well. The finely selected cut of prime beef rib has been skewered on a stick and grilled until slightly crispy on the edges. The smoky taste on top of the saffron aroma is a very enjoyable bite. The beef itself is very succulent and juicy, a great match with the slightly sweetened BBQ sauce on the side.

Mushrooms, kimchi cheese $42/skewer

Another signature skewer goes to this super indulging portobello mushroom with a generous amount of kimchi mayo and cheese on top. The super stretchy cheese is undoubtedly irresistible. The earthy and still very moist mushroom is complemented beautifully with a hint of spiciness from the kimchi mayo and the milky savoury melted cheese on top.

Black truffle, prawn, salted duck eggs pizza $148

The eatery’s pizza is famous for its extremely crispy, airy, thin and crispy crust. This Italian dish has taken us by surprise because uncommon ingredients like salted duck eggs and cauliflowers are used.

The pizza is truffle based and the powerful truffle aroma literally rushes through the air once the dish has been brought to us. The pizza is then layered with a lot of thinly sliced cauliflower pieces which is surprisingly flavourful, and a trace amount of salted egg is also used to give a little bit of salted taste to the pizza. Some pieces of chopped prawns also give another dynamic of crunch to the pizza. Finally, don’t forget that arugula is used to counterbalance that cheesy crispy goodness.

TOWNHOUSE once again gives us no disappointment. It is a quality restaurant using quality ingredients and very stable food quality. On top of that, the customer service from this restaurant is flawlessly excellent. The staffs are really considerate and experienced with thoughtful service and professional positive attitude, something really worth appreciating.
