Johnnie Walker Blue Label x The Peninsula – Limited Edition Whisky and Chocolate Gift Set

Johnnie Walker Blue Label has rolled out a limited edition whisky and chocolate appreciation gift set to welcome the holiday season.

The Scotch Whisky partnered with The Peninsula Hong Kong for this gift set which includes a bottle of 75cl Johnnie Walker Blue Label that can be perfectly paired with The Peninsula’s award-winning, handmade artisanal chocolates.

The chocolates have been curated by The Peninsula Hong Kong’s Executive Pastry Chef, Frank Haasnoot, whom brought us to his “Chocolate Room” for a quick tour!

A total of eight freshly made chocolates from four flavours unlocks six taste sensations including fruity, fresh, malty, spiced, woody, and peaty.

Passion – filled with passionfruit ganache and jam with a stronger acidity, a great way to awaken your senses by intensifying the crispy, fruity flavours of Johnnie Walker Blue Label

Honey – the sweet honey ganache promotes the sweetness in the American casks, and accentuates phenomenal notes of fruitcake, cacao and Assam tea within the whisky

Fleur de Sel – an indulging salted caramel ganache filled chocolate uncovers the salt, peaty flavours from the unique Blue Label, unlocking its ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg aroma

Peninsula – filled with dark chocolate ganach infused with Madagascan vanilla, emphasising rich, warm tones of wood and drawing out notes of citrus and blackcurrant, prolonging the sandalwood finish of the Johnnie Walker Blue Label

The Johnnie Walker Blue Label chocolate discovery gift set will be available form 7 November onwards at The Peninsula Boutique and selected specialised retail stores and is priced from HKD2,180.
