WOOBAR has launched a new afternoon tea set and buffet called “HELLO SAIGON”. The new inventive sweet and savory offerings created by culinary director, Chef Alain Allaire, steal the scene with bright pops of yellow, green and red and come with a choice of Vietnamese-style coffee or Thai milk tea.

Fuel your afternoon with exotic savories such as rice rolls of papaya, cucumber, tomato, romaine and pickled garlic-lime sauce, along with chicken, pomelo, foie gras and sesame baskets made with beetroot. The Black Angus sirloin salad with umbeoshi spicy sauce and Chả lụa baguettes with shredded Vietnamese sausage, cucumber and sweet chili sauce are also a highlight and are delicately balanced.
The sweet selections embrace tropical Vietnamese and Asian flavors, using French culinary techniques. There’s the wonderfully smooth and creamy pandan custard fruit tart, decadent and zesty lemongrass chocolate cake and green tea sago panna cotta with sesame tuile.
