Preview: Alley Street Food Market by FeedMe Guru

Alley Street Food Market at PMQ by FeedMe Guru is going to happen for 8 consecutive weeks starting from 12-7pm this Saturday, 23rd April 2016, showcasing the hippest restaurant and bars serving their signature dishes, cocktails, wines, craft beers, and healthy juices.

A line-up of 11 different concepts would be participating each Saturday. We are going to give you a sneak peak of some of the upcoming items you may find at this first ever food market at PMQ.

Topiary

Located at the heart of Central, Topiary is the one and only vegan bar in Hong Kong serving 100% vegan bar snacks canapes.

Topiary House Ccoktail – Low Hanging Fruit

A taste of paradise with Belvedere Vodka, Kina d’Or, pear puree, lemon juice and thyme syrup.

Topiary House cocktail – Reading the Tea Leaves

A take on breakfast martini with Tanqueray Gin, tea liqueur, lemon juice and yuzu marmalade jam

Bulleit Bourbon Sour

A whisky sour made with Bulleit Bourbon, lemon juice and egg white.

Walfberry Garden

A housemade cracker made with Walfberry, Walfberry oil, Eucheuma seaweed, tahini, topped with goji berry and deep fried shallot.

Vegetarian Mini-Burgers

Their vegetarian pattie is made from fried tofu, mixed mushroom, and mixed beans. Ratio is important for vegetarian burger and I think they nailed the recipe. The flavourful pattie was moist itself, complemented nicely with the warm toasted bun and the works.

Truffle Fries

Simply straight up finger licking thick-cut truffle fries served with truffle mayo. What’s not to love?

Moyo

Moyo is opened by a Korean chef who was grew up in Italy, serving traditional Korean dishes with a twist.

Korean Fried Chicken

Boneless crispy fried chicken with 4 different sauces including salt and pepper, dijon mustard, chili sauce, and soya sauce.

The chicken has been twice-fried with a special light batter which is airy and fluffy, while the chicken meat itself was moist and juicy.

Apart from the signature fried chicken which can be found at the market, we have also try some of their other food items which can be found at the restaurant just across the street.

Cacio Pepe e Noci Rice Cakes

The restaurant uses a type of soft rice cake, prepared with Pecorino Romano cheese, walnuts, black pepper.

Carbonara Rice Cakes

Parmegiano reggiano, pecorino, egg yolk, and pork. The cheesy creamy rice cakes were covered with the thick sauce, literally an irresistible dish to enjoy.

Drunken clams

Instead of using the traditional white wine, Moyo uses the Korean rice wine Makgeolli, garlic, lemon zest, chili.

Bread n Butter Cafe

A crepe expertise is offering their signature crepes along with something off menu at the food market.

Racette

Raclette cheese with 20 year proscuitto ham and baby potatoes. First of all, the smell of the cheese was is just extraordinary when it was being broiled at the scene. The intense cheesy savoury aroma just rushes through the room!

Crepe Complete

Classic French fillings including ham, cheese, egg and spinach.

Crepe Hong Kong

As a sweet finish, we have got a sweet crepe contemporarily twisted with condensed milk, peanut butter, toasted coconut and ice cream.

Icetropez cocktail drinks, Punch Detox, and a selection of craft beers can also be purchased at the scene!
