Ice Mango Cafe – Friendly Staff Serving Comfort Food

Starred by “Little Three” 小三
Ice Mango Cafe is a cozy local cafe inspired by Australian cuisine, located next to a chain of seafood restaurants facing the sea, serving a long menu including sharing platters, burgers, the grills, as well as all day breakfast.

Fisherman’s Basket ($75)

Everything you want in a basket with a fried cod fish fillet, 3 calamari rings, 2 prawns, crab sticks and some chips at the bottom, served with homemade tartar sauce. It reminded me of my childhood having a big bowl of yummy fried goodness.

Aussie (The Lot) Burger ($80)

An 8-layer juicy burger with grilled beef meat patty, slice sweet beetroot, grilled bacon, slice tomato and onion, juicy poached egg, cheddar cheese, and some green. It is uncommon to see beetroot in a burger but it actually balanced out the greasiness from the meat and sauce.

Spicy Korean Beef Burger ($78)

Quite a spicy burger with Korean style marinated beef slices. What an innovation!

Mini 4

4 mini sliders with different protein matching with different fruit sauce. Ice Mango Cafe uses fresh fruits to blend with the jam to enhance a more refreshing taste to the sliders.

Left 1 : fish fillet with kiwifruit sauce
Left 2: beef with pineapple sauce
Right 2: chicken with mango sauce
Right 1: prawn with strawberry sauce

Iberico Bellota Pork Baby Back Ribs ($188)

Don’t judge by its look and colour. This house barbecued ribs were very tender after being marinated overnight. The charred ends were the parts to fight for!

Ice Mango Cafe Deluxe ($128)

scrambled eggs, cheese sausage, bacon, grilled tomato, grilled mushrooms, baked beans, and garlic baguette

What’s not to be missed in Sai Kung to have a relax long brunch with a comforting big breakfast especially this one here in generous portion?

Beef Hanger Tender ($78)

The most chewy part from a hanger steak, hanger steak is known for its rich in taste of beef. After being house marinated and seasoned, the tenders here complemented well with the mustard sauce

A wide range of icebergs and shakes are also available. We particularly liked the peanut butter one because we are biased and we always love peanut butter with anything. Besides, the fresh fruit icebergs were super chilled and perfect for this “hot” autumn time.

Left: Peanut Butter Shakes ($50)
Centre: Ice Pineapple ($30)
Right: Ice Strawberry ($33)
