A RIOT OF PRINT AND COLOUR

The Cath Kidston Autumn Winter 2015 story was inspired by the amazing range of Library Prints accumulated over the past 22 years. Reinventing iconic designs that have become the brand’s signature, and re-colouring and mixing them in fresh and surprising ways, have created a joyful new energy.

Anyone familiar with the unexpected riot of a print and colour in vintage shops will understand the influence behind this theme, and also appreciate the subtle modern adjustments made. There are surprising new colour combinations across the individual stories as well as prints that look great in an eclectic mix with lots of variety, to recreate the excitement of vintage shopping.

TURN OVER A NEW LEAF

This theme inspired several all-new prints and represents a refreshing change of pace for the Autumn Winter 2015 collection. As a tribute to the changing seasons, prints feature delicate falling leaves and Autumnal blooms in classic, cheerful colours as well as some more unexpected shades. The notion of “turning over a new leaf” symbolises change and newness.

THE LIBRARY COLLECTION

For Autumn Winter 2015, Cath Kidston has turned to its own print archive for inspiration, creating a capsule collection inspired by the iconic graphics created by the brand over the years. The Library Collection celebrates familiar favourites and rare gems alike, which deserve another season in the spotlight and a new lease of life.
