Grassroots Pantry, known for its wholesome cuisine based on organic and sustainable ingredients, will be opening on 1 Sept at 108 Hollywood Road, Central. Peggy Chan, the owner and executive chef of the highly successful homegrown restaurant Grassroots Pantry, will make full use of the new 50-seat restaurant space, opening 7 days a week from breakfast, all the way through to late dinner. In addition, take away options will be available — perfect for those who would like to pick up breakfast on the way to work, or collect a healthy lunch for the office. For those preferring to eat a good-for-the-soul meal in the comfort of their own home, the restaurant will also offer much of the a la carte menu for a take-away dinner too.
Grassroots Pantry’s menu will continue to feature a wide range of vegetarian dishes from many different cultures, including many of the signature dishes that have been perfected over the years, while Prune Catering, the catering division opened by Peggy earlier in the year, will continue to provide outstanding options for those who wish to enjoy healthier options when entertaining at the office, or home.
