During the Only Watch 2015 charity event, organised by the “Association Monégasque contre les Myopathies” (Monaco Association against Muscular Dystrophy), Hublot unveiled the Classic Fusion Only Watch Britto. Partnering with Brazilian artist Romero Britto, new timepiece embodies the innovative capacity of Hublot by fusing art with watchmaking craftsmanship.
Created for the 6th edition of the Only Watch auction, the Classic Fusion Only Watch Britto separates from its predecessors by coming along with the canvas that inspired the watch. The unique watch feature vivid dials guided by some of Britto’s works. Treated with champlevé enameling, the colors are perfectly recreated in the essence of the artist’s work.
The black ceramic case strikes an artistic contrast with the vibrant dial. Finished with the Red alligator strap stitched onto rubber with white stitches, the takes the art of fusion to a new visual level. Each watch is equipped with the HUB1302 hand-wound mechanical movement and has the Hublot logo featured at the back of the case.
From 23rd September, the Only Watch 2015 travelling exhibition of watches will complete a world tour before the auction in Geneva on Saturday 7th November. The money raised will be donated to fund medical research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a debilitating neuromuscular disease.
